Augustine Space Flight Committee Announces Additional Meeting
"The Review of U.S. Human Space Flight Plans Committee will hold a public teleconference on Thursday, Oct. 8, from approximately 1 to 2 p.m. EDT. The only topic for discussion will be finalization of scoring of options the committee presented in their summary report on Sept. 8. This meeting will be held by teleconference only. The teleconference will be open to the public. The service limit is approximately 300 dial-in callers. Public participants will be in a listen-only mode."
Keith's note: I tried to dial in multiple times but was told by the friendly robot voice that my passcode was "invalid at this time". I guess that means more than 300 people were dialed in.

"I tried to dial in multiple times" it is disgusting that you were unable to join this conference call!! Remarkable really. So much for it being public.
I still wonder every few weeks what a young person who was denied an opportunity to ask a question during one of the "public" hearings in D.C. wanted to ask. He spoke eloquently at the weekend prior's Mars Society's open mike. It is shameful Augustine so confidently dismissed an opportunity to hear a voice of the next generation.
Very disappointed.

Oh! caught you on CNN Keith! You looked really sharp and together! Shaved, well spoken, clear -- not unusual for you, but, definitely not the space community norm. Good job! : )
