NASA Asks Public to Provide Videos and Photos of Meteor (with photos of fresh finds)
“NASA and the SETI Institute are asking the public for more information to help find amateur photos and video footage of the daylight meteor that illuminated the sky over the Sierra Nevada mountains and created sonic booms that were heard over a wide area at 7:51 a.m. PDT Sunday, April 22, 2012.”

    I was watching the sky at 9:15 in Yorba Linda CA USA in the direction of the eastern sky.. I watched a what looked like a very small star coming out of orions belt and crossed the sky to the north… This object moved very fast and never change color… I have seen many things in the night sky but this was a first… It was very very far out could it have been an asteriod….Stars don’t move the sky.. Just a Question?.4/28/2012 Didn’t have time to photo…..my e-mail is [email protected]…. thank you for any answer you may have…My name is chris winters and i simply love watch the night sky…

    I saw something very far away coming from orions belt going north at a very high speed… Asteriod… meteor
