Is this a new position? My recollection was that NASA only had three presidential appointees: administrator, deputy administrator, and the IG. Is CFO the only other one? Is my recollection incorrect or did it get added to the list for appointees at some point and I just missed it?

Based on recent events in the Senate, looks like he might actually be confirmed, too.

NASA has more political appointees than is mentioned here, the differentiation are those that require confirmation hearings. Those positions are Administrator, Deputy, the CFO.
Radz is very capable and competent and will be an excellent CFO.

Dave should be an excellent CFO. Another ex-OMBer, with an appreciation for the executive branch policy and program management ingredients of the job. Good choice.
