    the only thing missing from the multitude of Nasa posts about Gravity yesterday was the Amazon affiliate link to buy the BluRay.

    I don’t want to sound as if I’m taking anything away from either Gravity or 12 Years a Slave. Both appear to be outstanding films and 12 Years is a remarkable story. But the Academy has a history of giving science fiction films any award BUT Best Picture. It would be interesting to see what would happen one year if all the BP nominees were science fiction.
