.@batchelorshow actually deep space – cis-lunar EVAs were done on Apollo 15,16, and 17. So, #NASA has experience – albeit 4 decades ago.

This reminds me of what happened during the first station expedition: over-scheduling of crew time by the flight planners. Apparently nobody read the history of Skylab, either…
I remember they revolted and took a day off on Skylab. I remember at least one of the Apollo space walks on the news. I always felt it must be very scary to climb out of your ship far far away from the earth or the moon. Was it???
