    the concept is cool, but google has a lot of improvements with resolution (at least on the lunar map) before I would consider a true replacement for the other quality lunar atlases out there.

      True. I guess being Google the bar is pretty high, but I was disappointed. The Mars map looks better than the lunar one, and was disappointed in number of labels.

    Waiting for “street view” close ups of the surface!!! Get those self-driving cars up there soon, Google. (Maybe they’ll beat NASA back to the moon.)
