NASA Creates A New ISS Database That You Won't Find
Julie Robinson says that there is a database on http://t.co/XMMHKxgwON but it is hard to find. So they made http://t.co/GmFRDhAY6f #ISSRDC

Keith’s update: I made a mistake when I tweeted casis.org – the real address is iss-casis.org? but if you want to buy the domain casis.org you can get it for $200. CASIS forgot to buy it. You’d think CASIS would keep an eye on things like this …
Go to http://t.co/PKNxNjqN8T – seems to be no obvious mention of http://t.co/GmFRDhAY6f – so how do people find out about this? #ISSRDC

If you go to the #NASA ISS National Lab webpage http://t.co/m93hxUBHVy there is no mention of http://t.co/GmFRDhAY6f either #ISSRDC

I take it back – the ISS isn’t a boondoogle. Still quite expensive, though, if you just want a research laboratory in orbit.
Kieth, if this is the informatics database, I thinks it’s safe to say that it’s not really ready for wholesale use, yet. I know all of our ISS projects here at GRC have to plan for incorporation of the raw data and reports. Maybe they’re just not ready to really push it, yet? Just conjecture – I’m a safety guy, so not speaking from official standpoint, just the conversations we have during our reviews. From all descriptions, it does sound like a good concept, and will allow more PIs to look at and analyze data collected – help us get more science bang for our buck!
