Bob Farquhar (Update)
In Memory of Robert Farquhar, the Original Space Hacker, Motherboard
“Bob was laid to rest the other day after 83 orbits around the sun. Bob liked to tinker with things – especially spacecraft and their orbits. Let me change that. Bob was a hacker. Since he actually was the smartest guy in the room, he always had the numbers on his side. And he was persistent – sometimes waiting months, years, or even decades to get something to happen the way he envisioned it.”
Keith’s note: Memorial Services for Robert Farquhar will be held on Monday, October 26 at Witzke Funeral Home, 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD 21045 (phone: 410-992-9090). The viewing will start at 9:30 am. The Service will be performed by Washington National Cathedral Reverend Stuart Kenworthy at 11 am. The burial will follow at about 12:15 pm at 12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029. A reception will take place at the Kings Contrivance at 2:30 pm.

Is it fair to say he’s the man who found the map to the solar system’s Interstate network?
Behind every great passion, there is an even greater intellect :

He also had one weakness: lemon meringue pie.
My condolences Keith. A great man and a helluva pirate.
