To all those people who are always saying “Why are we going into space when we still have problems on Earth?”, don’t they feel foolish now. Bam! Trump just made space exploration solve a problem.
Keith, this is your site, and I certainly respect that. However, I am a bit perplexed by this topic post, and your link to a very partisan political polemic (thinly disguised as humor/satire) by the Washington Post. In the past, you have (correctly) admonished commenters to refrain from trying to push political views or score points.
OpEd Cartoon in a prominent newspaper cited accordingly. I have posted things that similarly mock Hillary’s campaign too.

A common complaint from Washington Post readers was that the column should have been clearly labled as a satire since some readers assumed it to be factual, having difficulty distinguishing it from the many outlandish things that Mr. Trump has actually said.
