    And I think JWST will also look back at the past to the formation of the first stars/galaxies. Very glad you could be our eyes on the scene, Keith! Congratulations on being selected to see it.

    Nice Job, is that a pic of the ITAR restricted secondary mirror backup structure! They’ve blurred that out in all other publications due to ITAR & proprietary concerns. Thanks!

      Yeah, I was surprised you were allowed to take pictures there. At KSC we can’t take photos of the Orion capsule because they’re afraid the terrorists will build one like it and attack us with it.

        They let people take pictures of it like this all the time.

        Not true. The reasons for no Orion photos is that it is in Lockheed Martin area and they have their propriety rules. NASA can take all the photos it wants once LM turns the hardware over to NASA. JWST mirror is a NASA in-house build.
