    AST has been the beneficiary of some truly great leadership throughout its time at FAA, Patti and then George will be a tough act to follow

    Sad to see but given how AST has been ignored in favor of the Commerce Department by the House and the Vice President, its not surprising. Nield has been a responsible regulator and a solid proponent for the new space industry – its a pity that SpaceX and a few others would rather go around him instead of working with this fair and reasonable man.
