    Reminds me of the guy (“Burke”) in “Aliens” always looking for an angle to protect his job and the corporation’s investment in the “weapon”. Snake oil, boys and girls.

    Marginally related: A recent article describes Congress’ reaction when the Army determined it had to abandon a new communications system into which >$6 Billion had been spent. Reading this I had to wonder about the reaction if NASA walked away from SLS.

    In testimony to the committee, Army Lt. Gen. Bruce Crawford, said this: “The Army’s current network was conceived, developed and fielded for the static environments of Iraq and Afghanistan but it does not meet the future warfighting needs of a high-end conflict.”
