NBC Nightly News Features NASA's Bill Ingalls
“Bill Ingalls has served as NASA’s Earth-based photographer for three decades, expertly capturing the space agency’s rocket launches and critical moments — even shooting a vehicle test inside an active volcano.”
The only thing wrong with this was it wasn’t a longer segment to showcase even more of Bill’s tremendous work and jaw dropping portfolio. Bill is a treasure in so many ways and it was nice to see him profiled this way by the NBC News team.
BILL IS THE BEST !
Another example of a public servant remaining in his job while he could earn much more in the private sector. I have no way of knowing his motivation; everyone benefits from his dedication.
There is a very small group of fantastic space-event photographers and Bill is phenomenal. He has absolutely made the most of his fantastic access. Thanks, Bill (and Walter Scriptunas, Gene Blevins and the corporate people who aren’t getting the name credit they deserve).
