Elon is a rock star! He did fine. He came off as very humanistic, especially given his revelation of Aspergers and with his mother on the show. You cannot hold him responsible for the lameness of some of the skits and jokes (that’s why some of us stopped watching SNL long ago). If the rest of you rocket scientists could look half as human and intelligent, maybe more kids would enlist as supporters.
Elon’s monologue felt sooo scripted, but many jokes ended up being so bad, they were good. I couldn’t help but laugh and have a good time. I caught my self many times thinking “How is this guy in charge of Tesla and SpaceX?” I dunno if I could stand working for him.
Maybe we could get some other scientists and engineers on SNL in the future? Maybe Bill Nye? Chris Hadfield? Anthony Fauci?

Have you ever been on television live before millions of people? I have. I do it once a week. Try it some time and see how you do.
