Russia Uses ISS Resupply Rocket To Spread False Ukraine Propaganda

Keith’s note: According to the NASA TV schedule: “Friday, June 3 5:15 a.m. – Coverage of the launch of the ISS Progress 81 cargo craft (Launch scheduled at 5:32 a.m. EDT)” Apparently NASA is going to air live video that clearly shows a rocket with Russian propaganda regarding the war in Ukraine on its side in immense, hard to miss lettering. Really NASA?

Russia is shooting itself in the foot for the future economically, in space, militarily, and in diplomacy. Not many other countries have made so many serious mistakes in such a short time.

All made by Putin. The most serious mistake besides invading Ukraine is holding the World hostage by blocking Ukrainian grain exports and attacking grain storage facilities. Putin is going to cause famines in Asia and Africa that depends on the grain from Ukraine.

It’s like at this point he knows it’s a huge mistake, but he’s too deep into it to give up, so he continues the Russian suicide.

Let’s hope they keep drifting mines out of the cleared channels to get the grain out expeditiously. Luckily the harvest wasn’t in yet when the silos were under fire.

Absolutely outrageous. NASA should either not air this propaganda or obscure the offending area of the rocket. And lodge a protest against Russia.

Is this really “propaganda” ? Sure nothing is positive about this … why do it (other than to annoy everybody else ?) ? The name will probably only be seen on Russian TV.

I’m sure they (the Russians) would equally complain about naming Western space ships “freedom” and the like as propaganda … “what? does the West have a monopoly on freedom ?” (even though that sounds rhetorical)

Time to accelerate the reboost capabilities so that US can kick them out of ISS.

There are so many rockets going and coming from the ISS that very few people watch them any longer. Only if NASA sends someone to physically see a launch or if its a new vehicle and there is crew on board does anyone pay attention.

Simplest solution would be for no one in the West, including NASA, to show the launch or the vehicle in transit. It becomes just another one of the random launches to ISS.

The launch crews wanted to acknowledge Putin & Rogozin by putting their names on the rocket, but they spelled “dumbass” wrong

NASA should make up about 100 Ukrainian flag decals, with really, really sticky adhesive (the kind the cops use to plaster on your windshield as a harassment when you park somewhere they really don’t want you to park, the kind that takes about 3 hours to remove …
And those decals should “mysteriously” appear glued to to all kinds of surfaces in the Russian ISS modules. Perhaps even on the outside of the ISS, near the Russian access airlock. And especially, if possible, on the inside of the returning-to-earth Russian capsules.
