NASA has some of the country’s most intelligent and motivated scientists and engineers. This IT security problem is just another example of how NASA’s management is able to systematically filter out their ideas and influence, no matter how reasonable and obvious. Is it any wonder that the moon is getting farther away?
yes Pat. You should see how messed-up KSC NASA security is. Most are “police want to be” folks who think there uneductated skills are some benefit. They are jelous of all the folks who are engineers and they walk around like KSC is a military base. They spend 99% of their time setting up speed traps and getting involved in EO complaints. What a bunch of losers! They have had tips on KSC folks stealing computers and could not solve a case if it was handed to them on a silver plater!!
