I do not think has anything to do with an interest in astrobiology. Recently, former President Obama made an offhand comment about space aliens in an interview. A question about Obama’s comment was directed to Trump during a press gaggle. That is apparently what led to this. This appears to be another example of Trump’s disturbing obsession with Obama and that is all it is.
