Mars Orbiters Aplenty
CuriousMars: 2013 to Debut U. S. and Indian Mars Atmospheric Orbiters while Challenging China In Asian Space Race, SpaceRef
“Mars will be thrust into international politics during 2013 as India builds toward the planned November launch of its first Mars mission, an orbiter to study the Martian atmosphere and challenge China in a surging Asian space race.”
Tinker, Steve, Paul, Mr. C
After reading through the Spacex hopper post and looking at a welding rod metal cans it seemed obvious to me that Spacex should build a version of Tinkers lifter and land it on Mars. It is post 87. Please look at it and comment should you have time.
Thanks
George
This is very good. The more countries seeking to Mars, the better. Let the race begin!
Bite your tongue, Sir. The last space race was an utter disaster for space exploration. Give me steady, measured, consistent, and sustainable progress any day over a over a race to some fictitious finish line that lies far short of the goal that should be sought (colonization).
Alright! you won. Unite!
