Artemis 1 On The Launch Pad

Keith’s note: today’s launch has been scrubbed due to an issue with engine 3. The NASA TV spokesman said that this was something that NASA had wanted to test in Wet Dress 4 but did not. So this was the first time they tried it. Meanwhile I am doing lots of media interviews (again)

  1. Glad NASA were finally able to get their wet rehearsal done today. Now wondering whether they will roll back to put new foam on the ET.

    1. They can pretty much keep refilling it but what most folks dont realize is that the H2 fuel and LOX has to be driven in and sometimes getting enough tanker trucks in, in time is an issue.

  2. I will be surprised if they move ahead with another launch attempt as soon as Friday. I’m anticipating they will need to roll back to the VAB and maybe we will have another Christmastime flight around the Moon.

  3. Hope I’m wrong, but if it’s a valve issue, hard to see how they can address it without bringing it back to the VAB.
