The First (Analog) Tweet From Space – In 1968

I clearly (and old enough!) to remember that. My feelings were like Wally was directing it straight to us regular people on the ground rather than holding something in front of a camera. It is interesting to learn decades later that at first TV was first considered a nicety, didn’t add much value, many thought it all was a waste of time and resources especially during lunar landings. Thanks to those engineers and technicians who pulled several all-nighters to make TV from space happen.
