Keith’s note: A chaotic year ends another, possibly more chaotic year begins. Suspend reality for a moment and watch this video, then think of how to push through today’s chaos toward that exciting future of exploration – one that is seemingly under constant delay – today.

Wanderers is the exact vision of the future I want. This is how I want humanity to be in 2117. Not wallowing around in LEO, and bickering over Mars vs the Moon. As Neil De Grasse Tyson puts it so eloquently, ‘the solar system is our backyard’. If we keep going with the slow, plodding ‘progress’ that has been evident since Apollo 17 left the lunar surface in 1972, it will be another fifty years and we might make it to Mars, when we could do so much more.
LEO is the first step to anywhere. One way to avoid wallowing in LEO is to develop inexpensive ways to get there, so that we can afford to go further.
Sagan never left the Earth physically, but his talent for sharing his vision allowed many of us to feel we had, and hope we will.
Thank you.
