4. Why not? Watching the costs increase and the schedules slip, most people I know regard Orion as a joke with no future. Mission to Mars! When, in 2075?

   1. Yes! At least 2075 is still in this century which may be overly optimistic for Orion.

5. The exterior shot actually looked like something from Jonny Quest!
   But if it weren’t for those meddling kids …

   1. We could use a program mascot like Bandit.

      1. Or Snowy. He’s been to the Moon and I like Herge’s artwork more.

         1. What can I say? As a kid Johnny Quest had it all.

            1. True! I loved Johnny Quest (the original, not the subsequent remakes).

6. Maybe they could do a few of those catchy schoolhouse Rock songs like instead of “I’m just a bill on capital Hill” they can do one “I’m just a cost plus contract” explaining how milestones can be missed and money still flows without consequences or instead of “conjunction junction what’s your function” it can “Orion spacecraft what’s your function” to explain how 12 years in it still is years away from a crew flight and missing a strong use case.

7. The Space Monster turns out to be Mike Griffin in a monster suit.

8. I have more faith in the “Mystery Machine” than SLS/Orion!
