I had the opportunity to work with Cliff over the years, most recently for a week at Michoud in 2019. At dinner one night, I asked what the highlight of his long career was. He told me he was most proud of producing NASA’s solar eclipse coverage in 2017. It was a logistical nightmare, but he pulled it off because he was one of the best. Cliff was a fountain of knowledge for those coming up under him, and he will be missed.
