I didn’t understand this one – the National Space Council was operating last year. This is so weird to say that they’re “reviving” it. This guy is still the NSpC Director of Civil Space policy, since Jan ’24: https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniel-evans-66828591/
Daniel Evans is Director of Civil Space Policy – not of the National Space Council. They are not the same thing – one position is a job. The other is running a Federally-chartered entity. If and when he is then they will say so. NSpC has not done anything for over 2 years. When Bush 2.0 started they said they were going to kill it. Even if it starts up agaion on Monday it will take months to bring it up to speed. As such it will not have much impact until mid-summeer, prpbably Fall – after some major budget decisions are in place.
