Henry is a pilot and brings more than 25 years of experience building and leading companies, negotiating complex agreements, managing risk, and executing in highly competitive environments. In his communications role, he will lead the agency’s global communications strategy, public engagement, media relations, branding, digital enterprise, and internal communications. NASA is the most accomplished and respected space agency in the world, and Henry will play an essential role in carrying that legacy forward.
Henry will also serve as NASA’s first Chief Commercial Officer. This new role’s focus will be to help stimulate the orbital and lunar economies, ensuring NASA is positioned to make the strongest possible deals on behalf of the agency and the American taxpayer. As these markets continue to develop, Henry will bring disciplined business judgment to our negotiations and partnerships so NASA can help create new opportunities without losing sight of value or accountability to the mission.
