Does This Picture Mean Anything?

I hope she’s lobbying for NASA.
She probably is. Back in 1970s Nichelle was recruited to pitch for minorities to apply for astronaut positions. Maybe she is back to recruit to pitch for NASA to engage in meaningful programs.
Keith, can’t you see? That’s Charlie on the right in the red suit.
That, and the sign language bit – it means he’s paying attention.
Yes. It means we have no serious leader.
Keith’s note: So … where’s Charlie?
Who do you think took the picture??
Love the picture! (Where’s Charlie? He’s busy working on the SLS and other cool stuff that NASA does.)
Well, it is a Vulcan greeting. And we know he couldn’t be Vulcan, crying at the drop of a hat… 😉
I don’t mean to start some kind of political argument but, literally what are you talking about? I googled “obama crying” and all I got was a funeral. Are you sure you’re not thinking of John Boehner?
Joe, Duh. Keith’s note is where is Charlie! He’s talking about Charlie Bolden who like Boehner cries at many public addresses.
Aha! Yes, I remember that now.
Well … That’s the first time I’ve seen a victory sign using your entire hand.
Ah! The heights to which a miniskirt will raise a girl.
Come’on guys, look closer, it is Charlie!
It means that the President is more interested in a fictional space program rather than a real one.
Marcel F. Williams
Marcel, that’s cute.
I’d rather have a president with an appreciation for Sci Fi than one who believes dinosaurs and humans lived together.
Werner Von Braun designed architecture for Venus and Mars fly-by vehicles for a reason, he was serious.
Carry on with the Apollo on steroids…
Although I’m not a supporter of any of the Republican candidates, Romney said that he believes in evolution.
Marcel F. Williams
It just means the President knows that most American voters are more interested in entertainment than in reality.
A few hours before this picture was taken, Ms. Nichols was the featured speaker at Goddard’s Martin Luther King Day event. She told the moving story of how Dr. King convinced her to stay on Star Trek when she was ready to resign to follow her Broadway dreams after the first season. She talked about her work with NASA and her hope to see NASA do great things.

Think about how old Obama is and when Star Trek was started.
