My only regret that this brain-dead loser was 86ed is that the alternatives are so much horrifyingly worse.

Good riddance. Just being pro-commercial space isn’t enough reason for this fool to be House Speaker. For heaven’s sake, has anyone listened to the man (try to) speak?

I couldn’t agree more. He is not ready for prime time. He may be a fan of commercial space but if you think its because he’s a true fan of space exploration you are just kidding yourself. He is in favor of anything that is cheap, cheap, cheap. He could care less if it goes anywhere.

Bummer. I find his other policies repulsive, but it’s not like any alternative would have been better – and McCarthy would have supported legislation to ensure Commercial Crew funding.

A guy who cannot even use a chart is frightening.

What’s frightening is not that he can’t use a chart. It’s that he thought he could make a chart that was a blatant lie and not get called out on that lie that is frightening. Anyway, he has no support among his colleagues and won’t become Speaker.
