    It isn’t clear whether Noble did any research after he received his PhD. Also to clarify, his research involved comparing models for short-range prediction of air movements over the African continent and in one case the effects of north-south air movement on glacial melting in Greenland. Atmospheric science, but not necessarily climate science.
