Acting Assoc Admin Steve Jurczyk: Lightfoot's last day in the office will be April 20. White House plan is for Bridenstine to be confirmed by then. No plan B at this point.

“Gerstenmaier then said NASA’s exploration program will require the unique capabilities of the SLS rocket. “I think it’s still going to be large-volume, monolithic pieces that are going to require an SLS kind of capability to get them out into space,” he said.”
So basically since they are going to design the LOP-G to fly on the SLS, they will need the SLS to launch the LOP-G. Perfect NASA logic. (rolling eyes…)
