NASA Watch: Your support is needed, support independent journalism.
Thank you for whatever support you can provide. We recently launched this upgraded website which will allow us to expand our coverage. But the design and hosting come at cost, as does adding new services. We're also going looking to add new journalists as we expand.

NASA PAO needs to have a Social Media office that controls directly all the social media accounts that speak for NASA.
Maybe not control, but at least…READ them.
As I lecture in my Management Communication class, best practices are to treat Twitter, like all Social Media, an offical channel of organizational communication and have a policy implemented that limits who is able to use it in the name of the organization and how it is used. This is the model most corporations and many universities follow. Hopefully NASA will catch up someday and reign in all these independent Twitter accounts.
