Keith’s note: How do NASA and other agencies hire at the same time they’re RIFing their workforce to reduce head count? Are these replacement hires? Where do empty slots come from when reducing a workforce? Can you get RIFed and walk out of NASA and get in line to apply for your old job at NASA Oh then there’s loyalty oath vibe. 1. So, essentially, one should only answer the first question:

“My example of upholding the Constitution is not to answer any of the other 3 questions, as loyalty oaths are unconstitutional.”

    2. Nothing in that is an “oath”. Anyway, once offered a job, all federal employees are required to sign an oath to the Constitution.

#3 is the only one that looks remotely controversial. But NASA *is* part of the Executive Branch. So yes, the president’s “Executive Orders and policy priorities” do apply to anyone working at NASA.

Fortunately, only until the next President is elected…

  1. I could see this applying to mostly at the management level, which is what Russell Vought wants.
