Internal NASA Memo: NSSC Active Contracts Review

Keith’s note: this went out to a vast portion of the NASA workforce today. I guess we know what people will be working on over the weekend – spreadsheets, not brackets. From what I am told by NASA sources anyone can see virtually anything they want – even if it is not their own stuff. No, I do not have – or ever want – access to this sort of proprietary/confidential stuff. Full memo below (spreadsheet and link do not work).

PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL IN ITS ENTIRETY
In accordance with Executive Order 14222 a complete review of NSSC contracts and grants are required. You have been identified as a technical monitor or contracting officer Representative (COR) with grants requiring a review. Please access the Power App Link OP-DataCallResponseTool-PowerApps and select EO14222 Review – NSSC to complete the following data field:
- Center
- Mission Directorate
- Description of contract/grant requirement
- Planned contract/grant action
- Impact if contract/grant is terminated – Be very specific on the impact to programs, projects, and mission. Don’t just provide generic information.
- Rationale for not terminating or descoping contract/grant – Justify the impact on the agency if this is terminated.
- POC providing justification and impact
- COR (first name and last name) if blank
This review of contracts and grants must be completed by NLT COB 3/26
If you are receiving this email you have been identified as a person who can provide the required information. Most of you will have more than one purchase order to enter. The attached spreadsheet has already been sorted by the EMAIL ADDRESS 1 COLUMN but can be sorted how you see fit. It is not linked to a sharepoint. Please take this request very seriously and respond before the deadline. Provide as much essential detail regarding the impact to the agency if the requirement(s) are terminated.

Oh no. I haven’t checked my email since 2pm yesterday, but believe I might receive this. However, most my contracts, if not executed, could result in entire center shutdowns.
