#ISS program has been run by dedicated professionals – in all countries – for 20+yrs. They've risen above and/or ignored terrestrial politics. In the past 48 hrs @Rogozin (@Roscosmos) has pulled out of Venera-D, evacuated staff from Korou (after offering Soyuz to european astronauts) and made various threats of deorbiting the ISS on India or China and/or pulling out of the #ISS program. According to @KathyLueders "we're not getting any indications that our counterparts are not dedicated to the operation of the #ISS. We're operating as we did 3 weeks ago. Still doing training and understand the global situation but as a joint team we are working together."
According to @KathyLueders "It is a good message that we are operating peacefully in space. We are looking at where we may have operational flexibilities. It would be a sad day for international operations if we cannot continue to peacefully operate in space" #ISS
