This e-mail was sent to the general public and to some credit union members. It instructed the recipient to click on a link to verify credit union information.”

“If the recipient proceeded to do so, the link directed them to a false website and asked for account number, password and other personal information.

We have confirmed that the e-mail addresses receiving this fraud attempt were not obtained from a NASA Federal Credit Union server. All member information on NASA Federal Credit Union servers continues to be secure.
