Very sad news about Denise. A great loss. I recall a wonderful and
vibrant individual who managed to be gracious even in the face of stress
and sometimes, shall we say, challenging personalities. She was one of
those unsung heroes and heroines at the agency. My prayers and thoughts
are with her family. May she rest in peace.

I share Courtney’s thoughts. She was a rock in the most difficult of times. RIP ms Denise

I agree with Courtney and Chris. I wish all “gatekeepers” were as helpful and sunny about their jobs. When I think about all the NASA AAs and senior managers she’s worked for since I first met her… and all of them helped invaluably by her intelligence and reassuring manner.
Denise was a wonderful human being. I had the luck to work with her while at the agency. She brought high professionalism to her role. She will be missed.
