On behalf of Nichelle Nichols, Todd Thompson, Tim, Franta, David
Teek, Greg Galloway and our entire cast and crew, we offer our deepest
condolences to the Jenkins family during this sad time. It is an honor to have her included in our documentary about the recruitment of the first diverse class of astronauts. Harriet was a bright shining star and a true definition of a “Woman In Motion.”
Sadly, I’m just finding out about this. Harriett and I used to meet to go to the theatre, and to the Kennedy Center to hear the National Symphony Orchestra. I am so sorry to have learned of her death. She was such a wonderful person. We had not known each other long, but we had an interest in the performing arts. Paula B.
