NASA GRC Workforce Transformation (Layoff) Update

Keith’s note: this memo was sent to NASA GRC employees: “As many of you have seen by now, in an email this afternoon, Acting Administrator Janet Petro announced the agency’s plan to offer eligible employees an opportunity to participate in a new NASA Deferred Resignation program (DRP), Voluntary Early Retirement (VERA), and/or Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP). Please review the information on these options from the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO), and as you evaluate your options, please remember the decision of whether to voluntarily participate in one or more of these programs will impact your career and your personal life. I encourage you to take time to do your research, ask your questions, and make an informed decision that is right for you and your family. In addition to information sessions planned by the agency, we will also hold information sessions for the Glenn team to help aid in your decision-making process.
