Pardon My Rant (Update)

Keith’s Update: I told this guy to stop communicating with me and blocked him. Now he is stalking me on other social media. He has crossed the line. I discovered via LinkedIn that the source of the image was Cole Simmons who says he is a “Police Officer at NASA” on LinkedIn complete with military camo picture. So now I have some NASA security guy coming after me. I am posting this – on the record – for my safety since he is local. If this is the shit I have to put up with then NASAWatch will evaporate. Keith’s original note: I posted a picture the other day. It was sent to me by 3 people with no known/cited source. So I cropped it and put NASAWatch.com on it so there’d be some traceability and show that it was not A.I. generated. I thought it was rather poignant – as have thousands of people who have seen it. Today I discovered via a nastygram on LinkedIn that the source was. He works at NASA HQ and took this picture at work. He is in some security role so if I out him he’ll be fired by the folks on the 9th floor. So I won’t. Normally I simply never ever reveal sources – for their protection. NASA Witch Hunts can be epic. Well, he has a right to tell me to give him attribution for his image – OK, so he is “[email protected]”. FWIW I reluctantly came out of retirement to restart NASAWatch and although I got some server fee donations from y’all – I spend my own time doing this and all the TV nonsense that goes with it. Again after 30 years I tried to retire. And I take real risks in an environment that punishes people who dare to speak out or push back. I have gotten two death threats and another threat against my daughter (we have no kids – but it was still a threat) that involved GITMO detainees and rape. I simply do not need this sort of crap. Pardon my rant. Time to go walk in the woods. Ad Astra etc.
