Where Is The Part-time NASA Administrator?
Has NASA been eclipsed by DOT? — NASAWatch.com
Keith’s note: Has anyone heard NASA’s part-time leader Sean Duffy recently reach out, motivate his NASA workforce, seek out shutdown, furlough, RIF, layoff, concerns – or otherwise show visible, enduring support for their hardship? Or does DOT get all of his attention? Just wondering.

He did visit Glenn and Hopkins ( which sit next to each other) .I think there are only about 70 employees onsite at GRC these days.
And he said ‘what’ about the whole crappy situation for his entire workforce …?

1. No mention by or quote of Duffy in this article saying a single thing about the shutdown and furlough’s effect on NASA employees but he spoke about flight controllers (who, of course, are deeply affected too).
2. No mention that I can find anywhere of Duffy issuing any sort of update to the NASA civil servant and contractor work force – and their families – about the shutdown/furlough and the hardships they are forced to endure.
I took the talk of lunar surface power at GRC as try ing to reassure employees that work was coming to GRC. In the local press, the talk of the nuclear power work has replaced the fantasy of moving HQ to Cleveland. I can’t imagine that the FTEs associated with this work will replace the cuts in the PBR for aero and space technology.
