Keith’s note: Our ISEE-3 Reboot Project crowd funding campaign just ended.
We raised $159,502 – 128% of our original goal.
Time to wake up a disco-era spacecraft and make it do science again!

Congrats ! And in reference to doing a science, maybe now its the time to start a kickstarter pension fund for @SarcasticRover, he’ll be much happiness.

Very best of luck to all! You are truly taking seriously the Star Trek mantra of boldly going where no man has gone before. Science is important to us all. Win or lose, it takes guts to try something brand new like this. Thanks to NASA also for being open to the possibility.

$159,502 brings to mind the punchline of an old joke: “Which one of those cheap bastards gave you $2?” “All of them!”

One of the things I like best about this is, whether the science succeeds or not, you brought together 2237 people who were willing to crack open their wallets in the name of stretching the boundaries of space exploration. What else might be possible?
