On 24/25 October 2007 (depending on where you were) NASA Watch.com editor Keith Cowing appeared live on CNN Asia to talk about China’s launch of its Chang’e mission to the moon.
In his commentary, Cowing discussed his take on what the signifigance of this mission is for China, how this places China on a par with other space faring nations, winners and losers (if there actually are any), and what America’s reactions are to the mission (there are many).
Most importantly, Cowing talks about why this should be viewed as a challenge – and an opportunity for other nations – and not as a threat.
