Matt Anderson, USAF (Ret.), has been nominated to serve as Deputy Administrator of NASA.” Update: NASA PAO issued a statement – 3 hours after everyone else had posted the news on social media.

I think this is the real important nomination to watch regarding the future of NASA. I heard recently that the deputy administrators of agencies are really the important ones that helps to steer and has a good deal of influence.
So what do we know about this guy then?
Will NASA and our US Space Force begin developing a strong relationship? I would think this is a no-brainer, however I hear people all the time that say NASA must keep its distance from military endeavors. I wish I new.
I suspect it has more to with the fact the Trump knows nothing about any of this, and with Elon gone, he figures that asking the DOD is the next best thing.
