MAVEN Enters Orbit Around Mars
“NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) spacecraft successfully entered Mars’ orbit at 10:24 p.m. EDT Sunday, Sept. 21, where it now will prepare to study the Red Planet’s upper atmosphere as never done before. MAVEN is the first spacecraft dedicated to exploring the tenuous upper atmosphere of Mars.”

Great! I am putting something in that I may get yelled at, but this revolutionary. It is possible to run a model glow engine on gasoline. Think there is no new ideas? I had heard this several months ago. I did not think to do a search. O. S. engines is coming out with a gas glow plug. They are back ordered. I was checking to see if I could find any($12.99) and found a video from last Jan. of someone running a glow engine on gas. This was before OS. Did not say what plug. I put some gas mix in the intake of a Tower .61 and it fired. I took it to the field and ran it keeping the booster attached. It started real rich, but leaned out nice. Idled well. Good RPM. NO damage to plug or engine so far. I ran 16-1 fuel. I did not fly, but it looks good and I will try it. OS has a new engine and they say it runs nice. Rod needle bearings and 50-1. I will run the plain bearing to see what happens at 16-1.
I have been running glow engines for 60 years. I never thought to try this. I had run model diesel fuel on glow. In 60 years nobody had suggested this. No engine column or test, nobody had said anything.
This is group think, nobody tried. The You Tube person quit posting on it. Probably OS did not think of it either and bought him out And told him to quit. So don’t quit trying. There are new ideas out there.
This is no hoax. If you or someone you know has a glow engine. Try it. Glow fuel $20, gas $4 a gallon. Some good news for once.
